Humble Beginnings

A brief history

The idea for Red's Microgarden came together over several years. Owner and CEO, Curtis Gray, spent much time gardening and learning about plants during the Covid-19 pandemic. He had dreams of planting large scale gardens that would provide fresh food and a healthy place for the community. One day, he was telling someone about his ideas and they asked what he would do to make it happen? From this Red's Microgarden was born.

Needing to start small due to budget restraints, Curtis began growing microgreens in a spare bedroom. He sold them first to coworkers and regulars at his bar job. They were very well received, so he pushed forward and decided to grow the operation into a small business.
